Besides choosing a good quality meat grinder, regular maintenance will keep your meat grinder long-lasting for years. Here are some tips to help you.
1.Change blade or sharpen the blade regularly for good quality meat grinding
Instead of grinding the meat, dull blades smear the meat on the other metal components which doesn’t provide a beautiful texture of ground meat. Be sure to sharpen the blade regularly or have a good supply of new blades.
2.Prevent rust
In order to keep the machine long-lasting, especially when you don’t use it frequently and kept in storage. It’s recommended to spray good-grade oil on parts like plates, blades, covers, etc. When you need to use it, remove the oil, and clean and dry it before assembling together.
3.Keep the meat cold before grinding
Room-temperature meat usually loses its shape more easily in the grinder than in chilled meat. If you want well-defined ground meat, put it in the chiller for an hour before grinding.
4.Correct installation
There are several cases when the user installs the blade in a reverse way and it immediately broken. Be sure to follow the correct direction when installing blades.
