Yes, chamber vacuum sealer is suitable for packing of soup or powder. However, user need to set suitable vacuum power and timing to avoid water and powder enter to the pump. Please check with our technician for accurate setting. 

2. What types of bag is suitable to use with chamber vacuum sealer? 

Chamber vacuum sealer is compatible with any type of plastic bags like PE, PA, aluminum foil bags, etc. For commercial use, we recommend to use smooth vacuum bags BS1 from Automicom. 

3. How to maintain chamber vacuum sealer? 

Here are some of the tips to follow: 

  • Clean the chamber with cleaning agent, wet wipes after every use to avoid food stains or oil accumulation. 
  • Using wet wipes to wipe the sealing part if there is food or burn plastic mark
  • Regular check of vacuum pump oil every 3 months. If the oil level dropped to below 25% mark, you can top up new vacuum oil to maximum 75% mark. If the vacuum oil turn dark or grey colour, it’s time to discard old vacuum oil and top up new vacuum oil. Additionally, check your vacuum time/strength, it might be too high.

8.1 Common Issues with R Series Nozzle Vacuum Sealer

Weak Suction:

  Causes:

   – Check the vacuum bag to ensure there are no leaks or tears. Incorrect positioning of the product in the bag might also cause weak suction. Additionally, the nozzle can get clogged over time without proper cleaning. Improper sealing of the water container behind the machine can also contribute to weak suction.

  Solution:

   – Clean the vacuum nozzle using the provided components. If cleaning doesn’t improve the suction, inspect the vacuum pump and the water container. If any part is damaged, take the machine to a service center for repair or replacement. Ensure the product is correctly positioned about 1 cm away from the nozzle for effective sealing.

The machine can Vacuuming but Not Sealing:

  Causes:

   There are many reasons leading to this situation, such as the vacuum pump transformer being damaged, the welding line of the vacuum sealer being broken, corroded, or the set welding temperature is insufficient. Or the heat-sealing screws are not tight enough. Depending on each cause, the handling methods will vary.

  Solution:

   First, you should check the heat-sealing wire and temperature. Try adjusting the temperature to increase the heat-sealing temperature to see if the machine’s ability to seal the bag is working normally.

If, after adjusting the heat-sealing temperature, the machine still cannot seal, it’s possible that the heat-sealing wire is damaged. Replace the heat-sealing wire with a new one to restore the normal operation of the machine.

 

*Machine Hangs or Shuts Off Suddenly:

  Causes:

   – The most common cause is issues with the power supply to the machine, preventing it from functioning. The second case may be due to the operating temperature exceeding the limit. Typically, continuous operation over an extended period causes the cooling system to function slowly, leading to the machine suddenly shutting down.

  Solution:

   – Firstly, you need to check the power source to see if there is any malfunction. If the switch is not turned on, you must turn it on. After checking and finding that the cause is not related to the power source, you can consider the second case – the cause might be related to the temperature.

In the event of the machine shutting down abruptly due to a sudden temperature increase, you need to let the machine rest until it returns to a normal temperature. Then, the machine can resume operation. Typically, manufacturers will provide this information to customers in the user manual. For household vacuum machines, they usually operate continuously for 10 to 20 cycles and then require a rest period of about 10 minutes.

*Unable to Vacuum:

  Causes:

   – The cause may be due to an unreliable power source used to connect to the vacuum sealer or a malfunctioning switch on the machine. Additionally, a damaged vacuum pump can also prevent the machine from vacuuming properly.

  Solution:

   – You need to check the power source. Usually, machines have a power display button. Examine whether there are any power fluctuations and if the machine’s switch is functioning. If the power supply to the machine is stable, and the switch is not damaged, you should turn off the power.

Next, proceed to dismantle the vacuum sealer unit and inspect the internal wiring for any breaks. If you find any damaged wires, you’ll need to repair or replace them. During the vacuuming process, it’s essential to follow the correct procedures and close the machine carefully to achieve the most effective suction force.

As for the vacuum pump, this is a crucial component in vacuum sealing food bags. It eliminates gases and moisture, enhancing the preservation of food freshness.

If the vacuum pump is no longer operational, the cause might be depleted pump material. You should add oil to the pump. Afterward, start the machine to check if it is working, or replace the vacuum pump if it cannot operate anymore.

8.2 Common Issues with Chamber Vacuum Sealers

Vacuum Sealer Not Creating Vacuum:

Identification: The product has been placed inside the machine for the intended operation, but the machine fails to create a vacuum by pulling air from the outside.

Cause: This could be due to an unconnected power source or a malfunctioning machine switch.
